Town and Country Gardens nursery is a family owned and run business.

In June 1991 David and Megan Cripps purchased Town and Country Gardens in Malvern. It was a modest garden centre with potential, and the new owners introduced new staff, products, ongoing professional development and top of the range service to customers and Town and Country Gardens soon became "Malvern's Nursery".

In June 1999, the Cripps' purchased Crittendens Nursery in Balwyn. Repeating the transformation that had been so successful in Malvern, Balwyn's store also became the "place to go" for quality plants, furniture, homewares and giftware as well as fine food and coffee at their café.

Nearly two decades later, both stores continue to provide top quality products and services. Success in the Leader Business Awards for the cities of Stonnington and Boroondara for the past five years is proof of this.
